Evaluates the feasibility of incorporating tire shreds in a levee slurry cutoff wall for flood protection. Includes results of a large-scale field test conducted near Gridley, California, using 475 tons of shredded waste tires. Published by the California Integrated Waste Management Board with assistance from the CSU Chico Research Foundation.
