This report was prepared under contract from the Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle) and studies the feasibility of placing a biocover of fresh and aged green material over the surface of a landfill to control escaping methane. Data was collected and analyzed to quantify the effectiveness of these materials in various conditions, including different climates and moisture content.
