The Canadian Journal of Addiction (CJA) is a peer-reviewed journal devoted to practical clinical research, management, and treatment issues related to substance use disorders and behavioural addictions. The journal publishes basic, applied, and clinical research and reviews of all aspects of addiction. The journal is of interest to addiction medicine clinicians, primary care providers, psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, pharmacists, and other health care practitioners involved in alleviating the consequences of the misuses of alcohol and licit and illicit drugs as well as behavioural addictions. CJA is intended to portray the Canadian experience, but also welcomes international submissions relevant to Canadian practice.
