Jurnal Perlindungan Tanaman Indonesia is an open-access, peer-reviewed scientific journal dedicated to the publication of pests and diseases of crops and commodities, includes, but is not limited to, the disciplines of acarology, bacteriology, climatology, entomology, environmental chemistry, integrated pest management, mycology, microbiology, nematology, pesticide toxicology, pest vertebrate, plant pest and disease ecology, and virology. It accepts full-fledged research, reviews of scientific works, and short notes/communication.
Jurnal Perlindungan Tanaman Indonesia is published semi-annually (i. e. July and December) by the Department of Plant Protection, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta, in collaboration with Indonesian Entomological Society (Perhimpunan Entomologi Indonesia, PEI) and Indonesian Phytopathological Society (Perhimpunan Fitopatologi Indonesia, PFI). It is a nationally accredited scientific journal (Sinta 2), based on the Decree of the General Director of Strengthening the Research and Development, Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education, Republic of Indonesia Number 200/M/KPT/2020, valid until 2024.

The editor’s board had decided in its meeting of December 20th, 2018 that a new contributor’s fee will be in effect as of January 15th, 2019. For each title of an accepted manuscript, the publication fee to be paid is IDR 1,500,000 |
